SynDaver to demo next-generation interactive medical simulation technologies at IMSH in San Antonio next week

SAN ANTONIO – SynDaver®, an advanced bio-technology company specializing in the creation of synthetic human and animal simulators for medical testing and training, will exhibit an array of new product offerings at the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH) from Jan. 26-30 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio.

SynDaver will showcase several new high-fidelity synthetic models and trainers, which utilize the company’s proprietary blend of complex composites that mimic the look and feel of living tissue, including a feline, equine, the next-generation human, and segmented body parts and organ systems.

The company’s new equine and feline models were unveiled on Jan. 20 at the 2019 Veterinary Meeting & Expo in Orlando and are expected to revolutionize veterinary training and pre-collegiate anatomy education curriculums. Like SynDaver’s human and canine models, the new equine and CopyCat® models eliminate the need for using live animals or cadavers for training purposes and provide a consistent realistic learning experience on the most life-like replicas on the market.

Additionally, SynDaver will provide an inside look into new product offerings that pair its high-fidelity synthetic mannequin and trainers with state-of-the-art technologies like Augmented Reality (AR), 3-D printing and interactive touchscreen displays. Products include SynDaver’s immersion table, a touchscreen digital anatomy smart board, as well as a multi-sensory procedural training system that combines AR technology with the hyper-realistic properties of SynDaver Synthetic Human and task trainers. SynDaver will also display the SAMM, a durable silicone modular mannequin packaged for STEM engineering education with a 3D printer, software templates, hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics.

Conference attendees interested in learning more about SynDaver’s latest products can visit booth 938 throughout the conference and are invited to experience live product demonstrations first-hand, which will be held at SynDaver’s booth every 30 minutes.
