SynDaver™ Labs’ President Dr. Christopher Sakezles co-authored a white paper with IVIR Inc (Sarasota, FL) entitled “Advancing the Research and Development of Live Tissue Replacement Using Modeling and Simulation Technologies for Military Trauma Training”. The paper describes the use of live tissue replacement technology invented by SynDaver™ Labs in military medical training.

SynDaver™ Labs’ first U.S. patent (No 7,272,766) issued today. The patent covers synthetic human tissues and body parts based test data from human and non-human animals.
Medical Education Technologies Inc.
SynDaver™ Labs is partnering with Medical Education Technologies (Sarasota, FL) to develop a synthetic human thigh insert for their I-Stan platform. This model incorporates individual muscles and vascular components as well as bones with cortical and cancellous structures and marrow. This will feature gunshot and IED woundsto allow training in severe femoral artery injuries.
U.S. Dept of Commerce Award
SynDaver™ Labs (formerly Animal Replacement Technologies, Inc) received the Excellence in Innovation Award from the U.S. Department of Commerce for our new bone and soft tissue analog technologies. The award was presented to SynDaver™ Labs President Dr. Christopher Sakezles by Robert Cresanti, The Undersecretary of Commerce for Technology.
