The NFDA Convention and Expo is being held at the Indiana Convention Center at 100 South Capitol Avenue in Indianapolis.
SynDaver’s Synthetic Human will be on display for all attendees to view at booth 1712.
The synthetic cadaver is the most complex synthetic human ever created and is made from water and a proprietary library of more than 100 synthetic human tissues.
The SynDaver Synthetic Human is used primarily for surgical simulation, medical training, and medical device development testing.
They are used by high schools, colleges, medical schools, hospitals, funeral directors and the armed forces for a variety of applications. The system works with all known imaging equipment, including CT, MRI, fluoroscopy and ultrasound, and all known surgical systems – even those that employ energy such as lasers.
Besides medical-use applications, SynDaver has been extremely popular in Hollywood.
The company’s products have been featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, Grey’s Anatomy, AMC’s Shipping Wars and Discovery Channel’s MythBusters. Most recently, one of SynDaver’s Synthetic Humans was featured in the CSI series finale on CBS Sept. 27.
