Medical simulation industry veteran Nadine Baez will direct a new research, development and commercialization group focused on government business.
TAMPA, Fla. – SynDaver®, developer of synthetic humans for medical device testing, surgical simulation and STEM education, announced today the promotion of Nadine Baez to the position of vice president of research and commercialization for SynDaver’s global government business unit.
A Miami native and Sarasota resident, Baez began her career in medical simulation more than a decade ago and has contributed to key DoD research initiatives with a focus in Combat Casualty Care. Since joining SynDaver in January 2018 as director of research and engineering, Baez has translated her clinical and professional experience into simulation technology design concepts, educational and engineering requirements, and prototypes for medical training and device development. In her new role as vice president, she will leverage the full spectrum of SynDaver technology to field next-generation medical models supporting training and readiness.
