SynDaver™ Labs' was invited by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) to demonstrate our revolutionary live-tissue replacement technology for the Congressional Causus for Medical Simulation. Mar 20, 2012 - Our 7th U.S. Patent
SynDaver™ Labs' seventh U.S. Patent (No 8,137,110) was issued today. The patent covers the design and manufacturing of synthetic human tissues which mimic the dielectric properties of a relevant living human tissue.

Dec 10, 2011 - Special Operations Medical Association
SynDaver™ Labs exhibited at the SOMA expo for the first time this year, showing our new airway trainers, trauma head, and a robotic, breathing, beating-heart version of the SSH platform. The company also sponsored a course organized by Dr. Alan Frankfurt and Dr. Jeffrey Cain to teach combat medics effective cricothyroidotomy techniques with SynDaver™ Labs' products.

Nov 4, 2011 - Ramses Annual Meeting
SynDaver™ Labs sponsored the 1st annual meeting of the Robotic Assisted Microsurgical and Endoscopic Society (Ramses) beginning today. Surgeons from around the globe converged on Orlando to learn microsurgical techniques on SynDaver™ synthetic human tissues in several operating theatres at Winter Haven Hospital. The company also exhibited at the show, demonstrating the pumping heart of the SynDaver™ Synthetic Human (SSH) as well as new central line, cricothyroidotomy, and nasopharyngeal models.

For most human patient simulators, latex remains the material of choice for the external “skin” of the manikins themselves. It’s a reasonably tough material, and relatively easy to clean, but when you touch one there is no doubt in your mind that you are not touching a human being, you are touching latex.
