Sep 8, 2008 - Partnership with AANA
SynDaver™ Labs is now working with the Arthroscopy Association of North America (Rosemont, IL) to develop the world's most complex and realistic synthetic human shoulder for surgical simulation and partial task training purposes. This new product line is expected to be widely available Q4 2009 and will replace the use of currently inadequate shoulder models as well as human cadaver shoulders in training for rotator cuff and other shoulder sugeries.

SynDaver™ Labs is now working with IVIR Inc (Sarasota, FL) to develop simulation technologies for the U.S. government. The companies will collaborate in the areas of product development and research into the replacement of live animals in medical education.

Dec 1, 2007 - Partnership with METI
SynDaver™ Labs is now working with Medical Education Technologies (Sarasota, FL) to develop a battlefield femoral artery wound trainer for the U.S. Army. The companies will jointly develop additional simulators for both military and civilian use.

SynDaver™ Labs was founded in 2005 to develop synthetic human body parts for the medical device industry. The company's products are now used by Fortune 500 manufacturers such as Johnson and Johnson, Cook Group, and others to reduce the need for live animal studies.

Sep 18, 2007 - Our 1st U.S. Patent
Our first U.S. patent (No 7,272,766) issued today. The patent covers the design of synthetic human body parts and the formulation of synthetic human tissues for medical device testing, surgical simulation, and clinical task training.

Feb 27, 2007 - U.S. Dept of Commerce Award
SynDaver™ Labs received the "Excellence in Innovation" award today from the U.S. Department of Commerce. The award was presented to SynDaver™ Labs President Dr. Christopher Sakezles by Robert Cresanti, The Undersecretary of Commerce for Technology.
